We recently welcomed a customer from Pakistan. This customer planned to enter the fried onion production market, after market research, he decided to start with a small-scale operation. He learned that fried onions are in high demand in the local market and can be used in home cooking, as a restaurant ingredient, and in food industry formulations. Therefore, he wanted to purchase a set of frying equipment suitable for initial production.

During our conversation with the customer, we learned about his production plans and site conditions. Since this was his first foray into fried onion processing, we recommended a small fryer. This type of equipment has a small footprint, is easy to operate, and effectively controls oil temperature and time, making it ideal for startups or during pilot production.
In the equipment configuration plan, we also recommended that the customer add a de-oiling machine. If the oil content of fried onion slices is too high, it will affect the taste and storage life of the product. The de-oiling machine can quickly remove excess oil through the centrifugal principle, making the onion slices crisper, drier, and with better color, while also extending the shelf life.
Initially, the customer was hesitant about whether to purchase a de-oiler. We detailed the advantages of a de-oiler in improving product quality and presented examples of other customers using it and compared their finished products. After further investigation and understanding, the customer agreed with our proposal and decided to purchase a de-oiler in addition to the fryer.
The equipment has been shipped to Pakistan. The customer is very much looking forward to the results after it goes into production and plans to further expand production capacity once production stabilizes.
