We recently welcomed a client from New Caledonia, who was entering the potato chips processing industry for the first time. As an entrepreneur with no prior food processing experience, he was very interested in the potato chips industry, but he also had many questions, requiring professional guidance on every aspect, from production processes to factory construction.

During our initial conversation with the client, we learned the following:
He had no prior experience in the food processing industry and was excited about the market potential of potato chips, but lacked a thorough understanding of the actual operational processes. He had numerous questions about the potato chip production process: from pre-treatment of the raw potatoes to slicing, blanching, frying, seasoning, and packaging—he wanted clear answers to every step.
He also lacked experience with factory equipment configuration, plant layout, and production capacity matching, requiring a comprehensive, achievable solution.
Our engineering team provides comprehensive support to customers in various situations:
- Multiple rounds of communication and patient explanations
We organized nearly 10 video conferences to provide customers with a detailed introduction to the potato chip production process and key points. We provided step-by-step instructions on everything from selecting the right potato variety, controlling slice thickness, and managing frying temperature and time.
- Equipment selection and process matching
Based on the client’s expected production volume and budget, we recommended a potato chips making machine tailored to their scale, including a washing and peeling machine, slicer, blanching machine, continuous fryer, de-oiler, seasoning machine, and packaging machine. All equipment is constructed of food-grade stainless steel and meets international food processing standards.
- Factory layout and construction plan
Considering the client’s lack of factory construction experience, we provided a complete factory floor plan, clearly defining equipment placement, production line flow, and auxiliary facility requirements. We also provided the client with factory construction advice, including floor preparation, drainage design, and ventilation requirements.
We not only provide equipment, but also help customers establish a complete potato chips production system. Through systematic solutions, customers can quickly start from scratch and gradually enter the potato chip processing field.
Through a series of in-depth discussions, the customer gradually developed a systematic understanding of potato chips production. He highly recognized our team’s professionalism and patience, saying that this production line would be his first step into the food processing industry and expressed confidence in future cooperation.
